4 Tips to Lower Your Costs When Buying Traffic

Let’s get real here. Paid advertising and buying traffic isn’t always cheap, which is why as an online advertiser, you need to get creative with how you use your resources. Always find ways to stretch your ad spend and keep optimizing your campaign and budget so that you can get the most bang for your buck.

Fortunately for you, there isn’t of shortage of resources that you can use to maximize your online advertising budget. There are plenty of sites that offer tips on how to do this. And if you need more help, know that the ad network where you buy traffic from is also on your side. Remember, the more traffic and conversions you get, the better it is for them, so don’t be afraid to reach out for discounts or any help with lowering your costs.

Here are a few ideas on how you can do just that:

Ask for special rates from your online ad network

Are you a long-time customer? Do you buy traffic in bulk? If so, then you may qualify for special rates or discounts from your network. For example, at FullTraffic, we provide coupons for our large volume customers.

Depending on how much you spend on advertising, we can offer you discounts on your next purchase if your ad spend reaches the following limits:

$3,000 - 15% discount coupon
$5,000 - 20% discount coupon
$8,000 - 25% discount coupon
$10,000 or more - 30% discount coupon

Keep an eye out for promotions

Is it a special time of the year (i.e. holiday season, Memorial Day, etc.)? If so, be sure to get in touch with your ad network--or at least visit their website--to see if they’re running any holiday-related offers.

You could also look into any industry-events and see if they’re attending. A lot of exhibitors provide special promos during expos and conferences, so if your ad network happens to be attending an event near you, stop by and see what they have to offer.

Subscribe to your ad network’s emails

Your ad network (or any vendor for that matter) regularly sends emails pertaining to company updates, relevant news, and changes to your account, so make sure that you’re subscribed. Beyond that though, most vendors also run special offers and they usually announce it via email first, which gives you another reason to hit the subscribe button.

Not a fan of getting too much email? See if you can control your subscription settings. Some sites allow their subscribers to specify which types of emails they wish to receive. For instance, if you’re updating your email settings with your ad network, you can specifically tell them to only send you emails that are relevant to advertisers (and not publishers).

Be friends with them online

See to it that you never miss an update or promo by liking and following your ad network on social media. This not only ensures that you get wind of any special offers, but it can also enrich the content of your newsfeed or stream.

All FullTraffic for instance, we don’t just publish posts about discounts, we populate our social media accounts with informative and educational posts about buying traffic, digital marketing, social media marketing, and more.
