Inexpensive Ways to Increase Traffic to Your New Website (Part 2)
In part 1, we talked about some inexpensive strategies to drive visitors to your new website. If you’re looking for even more ways to increase your traffic, here are 4 additional tips to do so:

Regularly publish new content on your website and constantly promote your posts via social media. But do make sure that you’re putting really valuable content—something that people would actually want to share.
Can’t publish content on a regular basis? Hire a freelance writer to take care of your posting needs. You can also take on some guest bloggers to help fill up your editorial calendar. Be careful though. Remember that Matt Cutts of Google recently declared guest blogging for SEO as “done,” so if you’re going to publish guest posts, make sure that you’re dealing with people who are doing it to build exposure and relationships, and NOT links. If you can, make their links no-follow to avoid raising any red flags with the search giant.
Give away freebies for people’s email address
Unlike contests, giving away freebies for leads entails that you offer up free stuff for everyone who signs up. You can do this by publishing a free ebook or whitepaper and giving it away to people who subscribe to your blog or newsletter.
Aside from attracting new visitors, this strategy lets you re-engage your existing subscribers and get repeat visitors by sending regular updates and valuable content to the people who have already signed up.
